Applications for the under mentioned vacant posts can be done online at the Mizoram
Public Service Commission’s online portal https://mpsconline.mizoram.gov.in till 18/04/2023.
Applicants must verify that their applications are submitted after payment for
applications are done. Fees once paid will not be refunded. However, if due to technical error, more
than one payment is made for the same post by the same applicant, the excess payment may be refunded.

PwBD (blindness and low vision)]

(b) Junior Grade of Mizoram Police Service – 8

(c) Junior Grade of Mizoram Finance & Accounts Service – 9+1

[reserved for PwBD (locomotor)]

[The number of posts for MF&AS is subject to the outcome of

Judgement & Order in WP(C) No. 134 of 2022]

 (d) Junior Grade of Mizoram Information Service – 4+1 [reserved

for PwBD (blindness and low vision)]

5. Pay : Level 10 in the Pay Matrix (Rs.56,100 – Rs.1,24,500)

6. Conditions of Eligibility :

 1) He/She must be a citizen of India as defined in Article 5-7 of the Constitution.

 2) He/She must be a permanent resident of the State of Mizoram provided that a candidate will

also be eligible if his parents or any of his ancestors in his direct lineage are the permanent

residents of the State, with proper documentary proof like enrolment in Electoral Roll and

Birth Certificate.

 3) He/She must have attained the age of 21 years but must not have exceeded the age of 35 years

on 1st August, 2023; Provided that the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment will be

relaxable only in the case of candidates belonging to the (i) Scheduled Castes, (ii) Scheduled

Tribes, (iii) Other Backward Classes, (iv) Disabled Defence Services personnel (v) Exservicemen including Commissioned Officers and Emergency Commissioned Officers

(ECO)/Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCO), and (vi) persons with benchmarked

disabilities in accordance with the notification No.A-12011/1/2019-P&AR(GSW) dt.

03.06.2019 and published in the Mizoram Gazette extra ordinary issue No. 375 dt. 10.06.2019

as amended from time to time. Save as provided above, the upper age limit can in no case be

relaxed.

 Provided that for advertisement made during calendar years of 2023 and 2024, the

candidate must not have exceeded the age of 37 years on 1st August of the particular

calendar year.

 Provided further that for advertisement made during calendar years of 2023 and 2024,

the candidate with three years continuous service in the State Government either on

regular, work-charged, contract, Provisional or ad hoc/officiating basis including

Centrally Sponsored Schemes must not have exceeded 40 years of age (45 years for

Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes)”.
